If you believe the level of recognition is incorrect, please complete a discrepancy form in the counseling office. The deadline to submit this form is Friday, March 15th.

IMPORTANT FAFSA UPDATE
Now is the time for your student to submit their 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://studentaid.gov. Please be sure both the student and parent(s) each have their own studentaid.gov credentials to complete the FAFSA. Each person needs to set up the credentials at least three days before starting the application.
Every eligible student should complete the FAFSA, if they are planning to attend college or a trade school in the fall. The FAFSA is what makes students eligible for federal, state and some college-specific financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans and work-study. There is NO REASON to wait to complete the FAFSA, as it is based on 2022 tax information.
For more information, check out a newsletter devoted specifically to Financial Aid.
For more information, please reference our FAFSA Update.

protect your student on their devices
The Michigan Child Protection Registry has added more apps to keep kids safe from being targeted by adult ads while on their devices.
Districts across Michigan, like yours, always ask - How can we help our families keep their children safe while online? One resource that is extremely important to make parents aware of is the Michigan Child Protection Registry. This Registry is a do-not-contact service that families can easily and quickly sign up for at www.ProtectMIChild.com in order to keep their children safe while on their devices at school and at home. This is a free Registry offered through the State of Michigan that stops adult advertisements from reaching our kids through e-mail, text, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Twitch and TikTok. This Registry is an excellent resource for making sure our kids aren’t being served ads for alcohol, tobacco/vaping, online gambling, pornography or marijuana.

The safety and security of all students and staff at Stoney Creek is always a top priority. To help us in these efforts, please see the information below:
- Students can enter through 3 entrances: the Main Doors, the Athletics Doors, and the Auditorium Doors.
- Campus will remain closed throughout the school day. All grades will have lunch on campus.
- Students are NOT to utilize fast food delivery services. For example, DoorDash, Grub Hub, Instacart, or Uber Eats, etc. for food delivery.
- If students are traveling to other campuses throughout the day, they are asked to check out of SCHS in the Attendance Office and check back in when they return.
- Students are encouraged to utilize their assigned lockers to minimize their belongings in the classroom.
If you see something, say something. Please report all safety and security concerns to the Main Office Staff or to Officer Drehmer.
