congratulations rochester mountain bike team
In an amazing finish to an outstanding season, the Rochester Mountain Bike Team swept first place in all five Varsity and JV categories at the Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association’s State Championships at Stony Creek Metropark on Sunday!
With a strong home course advantage on a grueling, muddy trail, the team earned a total of seventeen top-ten finishes across all categories. RMBT also proudly accepted the Composite High School Championship trophy after sweeping all six races in the series, an unprecedented accomplishment for this five-year-old team! Sophomore Katja Opfer crushed her race to complete her series sweep, a record-setting 14-race winning streak, and accepted the trophy for Varsity Female State Champion. Freshman Trevor Abramczyk took 3rd in JV 9-10 Male and finished 4th overall in the series points. Junior Stuart Grindem, Junior Isaac Shirley, and Senior Isabella Rossey also finished in the top ten in their races. Congratulations Katja, Trevor, Stuart, Isaac, and Isabella!
RMBT would like to thank everyone who supported and believed in them this season. Great job to all our racers!

senior photos class of 2024
All seniors must get their YEARBOOK PHOTO taken through Prestige Portraits. This service is free of charge to every single student. This procedure is not only equitable for ALL students, it streamlines the process for parents, students, and the yearbook advisor. In addition, ALL students in the class of 2024 will be included on the class composite as a result of using Prestige.
The yearbook and composite photos were taken August 16-18. If your senior missed their appointment, you can schedule an appointment at one of Prestige’s studios by visiting www.prestigeportraits.com/studio or calling 517-349-1703 to set up an appointment. The closest studio to Rochester is the Shelby Township studio. The deadline to be photographed outside of our scheduled on-site dates is October 14, 2023. Due to yearbook printing deadlines, any student that does not meet that deadline will not be included in the senior section of the yearbook.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Millard at [email protected].
