Schedules for semester 2 are now available in StudentVue/ParentVue.
We understand schedules are very important to everyone. Our counselors and administrators are working hard to ensure that all students have schedules that best meet their scheduling needs.
If you have an error in your schedule that needs to be addressed, please visit the counseling office to fill out a Schedule Change Request Form and/or schedule an appointment to see your counselor. Counselors will respond to each submitted request.

CALLING ALL SENIORS! The Stoney Creek Athletic Boosters Scholarship Application for the Class of 2024 is available! Please submit your application (attachment below) and essay before the March 1, 2024 deadline. If you have questions or need to check your family's membership status, please do not hesitate to reach out to Jennifer French. The scholarships awarded will be a minimum of $250 per recipient.
Applicant requirements:
• Played a SCHS sport (does not have to be varsity level)
• Household must be a current annual member or Lifetime Member of the SC Athletic Booster Club
• Applied and/or accepted to a continuing education program for Fall 2024
• Set to graduate from Stoney Creek High School in June 2024

The annual Rochester Community Schools Foundation Scholarship Program is NOW accepting applications from all interested RCS high school seniors, including students attending the International Academy (IA) and Alternative Center for Education (ACE).
The scholarship descriptions that are awarded through the RCS Foundation and steps to begin the application can be accessed by clicking on the following link: rcs-foundation.org/annual-scholarship-program/.
This year, over $70,000 will be awarded to interested recipients from any RCS high schools, including students attending ACE and International Academy (IA).

If you are still planning to apply to more colleges/universities, please continue working on your Common App and/or individual institution applications, requesting transcripts as needed, and making sure you have everything complete. If you have questions, schedule an appointment with your counselor ASAP.

yearbooks on sale for the 2023-24 school year
Yearbooks are on sale at www.yearbookforever.com for $80. The final deadline to order a yearbook is February 4, 2024.
Senior yearbook ads can be purchased at www.yearbookforever.com through January 28, 2024. Due to printing deadlines, no orders will be accepted after that date. Photos and text must be uploaded at time of purchase. Please include photos of both horizontal and vertical orientations. Once photos and text are uploaded, the yearbook staff will design the ad and send a proof home to parents through the email provided on the order form. Proofs will go home mid-February. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Millard.

Anyone attending an athletic event needs to buy their tickets on GoFan. Ticket packages are available on the site.
STUDENT PICK UP AFTER SCHOOL / PARKING
As a reminder at the end of the school day, students must be picked up in the parent loop on the south end of the school off Tienken Road. If the student can not be picked up in the loop, please park in the Junior or senior lots by the auditorium or the pool. Please do not pick students up on the north end of school. The loop is reserved for busses and authorized vehicles with permits only.

The safety and security of all students and staff at Stoney Creek is always a top priority. To help us in these efforts, please see the information below:

- Students can enter through 3 entrances: the Main Doors, the Athletics Doors, and the Auditorium Doors.
- Campus will remain closed throughout the school day. All grades will have lunch on campus.
- Students are NOT to utilize fast food delivery services. For example, DoorDash, Grub Hub, Instacart, or Uber Eats, etc. for food delivery.
- If students are traveling to other campuses throughout the day, they are asked to check out of SCHS in the Attendance Office and check back in when they return.
- Students are encouraged to utilize their assigned lockers to minimize their belongings in the classroom.
If you see something, say something. Please report all safety and security concerns to the Main Office Staff or to Officer Drehmer.

Students can obtain a work permit in the counseling office as well as in the vestibule outside of the main office. Make sure to choose the appropriate form (there is a form for UNDER 16 and a separate form for 16 & 17 year olds).
Complete Section I, have your employer complete Section II, then bring back to SCHS to be completed (if a parent is bringing the form for their student, we will need a photo ID of the student in order to complete the work permit). Work permits are completed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Rochester Community School operates its meal program using Point of Sale Computers (POS). Our computers are capable of tracking all pre-paid lunch sales. In addition, you may view a detailed account of what meals or snack your child has purchased and your account balance by creating an account on https://www.myschoolbucks.com . This is a free service for the convenience of our parents. If you child receives free or reduced price meals, rest assured they will not be identified in front of others.
