Congratulations to Rochester United Figure Skating on becoming State Champs!!!
Freshman, Arianna Mattei earned the State Champion title in the Women’s Novice Excel Figure Skating Event and the Rochester United Figure Skating A Team were also named State Champs.
Wishing our Winter Guard teams the best of luck at their State Championship this weekend at MSU!
Student Council was honored to receive a $1000 from SetSeg Foundation for winning a “Best in Show” at the MASC Student Leadership State Conference.

Congrats to Nazar who was awarded the Cont;nue Award given to wrestlers who have shown courage when faced with challenges/adversity. Nazar wrestled all four years at Stoney and ended his Junior & Senior year with Top 4 finishes in the District and Regional Championships. Nazar will also receive a $1000 scholarship!

spring testing information

​Testing will be held at Rochester, Adams, Stoney Creek, and the Schultz Campus. All virtual students will test at their home school.  ACE students will test at Schultz campus.
 
 Please remember completing the MME Assessments (MSTEP, SAT, and WIN) are state-mandated graduation requirements for all 11th grade students. Any 12th grader who has not taken all 3 of these tests will need to complete them during the spring testing schedule.
 
  • Students must bring in their fully charged district issued Chromebook and charger 
  • Students must bring their student or state ID
  • Students may bring a snack or water for breaks during testing 
  • Cell phones, backpacks, and jackets are not allowed in the testing rooms. These must be left in lockers or cars. 
 
Below are the details for the 2026 Spring State Testing schedule. Please read through them carefully.
​Important Transportation information for Tuesday (4/14) and Wednesday (4/15): 
  • Transportation will be provided via assigned bus routes for eligible students who require busing.
  • Students testing in the morning will utilize their normal bus schedule for pick-up times.  
  • On 4/14, 10th and 11th grade students testing in the morning will utilize their normal bus schedule for pick-up times.
  •  On 4/15, 9th and 11th grade students testing in the morning will utilize their normal bus schedule for pick-up times.
  • Busing to OSTC will not be provided for students. OSTC students who are 11th graders are required to come to school for the SAT and WIN tests. 
  • OSTC students who are not testing will be exempt from OSTC if they are unable to drive to the site.
  • On Wednesday 4/15, Bus pick-up times for eligible 10th and 12th graders will be 3 hours and 45 minutes later than their normally scheduled time. Please look for a detailed communication from the transportation department with your exact pick-up time.   Students will arrive on campus at 11:15am and report to the lunchroom where a grab and go lunch will be provided. 
  • 10th and 12th grade students not riding the bus, should report to school no later than 11:55am for classes.
 
Tuesday 4/14 Schedule:
On Tuesday 4/14, 11th grade students take the SAT, and 10th grade students take the PSAT 10 in the morning. There is no school after testing.  Testing for 10th and 11th graders will begin promptly at 7:30 and be completed at approximately 11:15am. 10th and 11th graders who utilize district transportation will be picked up from school at roughly 11:30 am to return home. ​
Wednesday 4/15 Schedule:
On Wednesday 4/15, 11th grade students take the WIN test and 9th grade students take the PSAT 9 in the morning.  All students (9th - 12th) will start school in the afternoon. There will be lunch available from 11:15 am-11:55 am.  Below is the abbreviated class schedule.

If your student(s) qualify for free and/or reduced meals and want to access summer program discounts, updating your Free and Reduced Lunch Application and completing the "Consent to Share" form will help ensure you receive the benefits you need.  Without this form, programs cannot verify your status for any discounts.

The Rochester Community Schools Summer Music Theatre (SMT) program will present Frozen, the Broadway musical, with performances July 22-26, 2026.
 
SMT is available to RCS students in grades 7-12, including 2026 graduates. Auditions are June 16. Be sure to mark your calendars.

How to register your Senior for the Senior All Night Party 2026 (SANP):​
1. Go to CougarLink: stoneycreekhsptsa.membershiptoolkit.com
2. Click the "Register for the 2026 SANP" image on the home page
3. Follow the prompts to log in OR create an account if you don't already have one.
      Make sure to add your senior to your family profile. 
4. Complete the SANP form and check out. Make sure to continue clicking through the check out process until complete.
​      You'll get an email confirmation once you complete the process.

​EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS
School counselors met with all students to develop and update their personal Educational Development Plans (EDPs). During these sessions, students participated in grade-level presentations and completed activities in XELLO, our post-secondary and career-planning platform. These lessons are designed to help students explore career interests, set academic goals, and prepare for life after high school.

​  Tickets to all athletic events will now be purchased electronically through GoFan.
Anyone attending an athletic event needs to buy their tickets on GoFan. Ticket packages are available on the site.
ATHLETIC REMINDERS:
  • Please purchase your tickets early on ​GoFan. This is the only way for you to pay for your ticket into the game. We do not accept cash.
  • If you have a middle schooler or elementary schooler that would like to attend the game, they must be accompanied by a parent.
  • You can not enter the stadium with any kind of container (i.e. water bottles, Yeti cups, disposable coffee cups, etc.). You will be asked to throw it away before entering the stadium.
  • Bags will not be permitted into the stadium. The exception would be diaper bags or medical bags.
  • There is no re-entry into the stadium. If you leave at any point during the game to go to the parking lot, you will not be allowed to return.

Any students who will be parking at SCHS must have a parking pass. If you attend OSTC, you can purchase the OSTC parking pass and use it at Stoney Creek as well.

work permits

Students can obtain a work permit in the counseling office as well as in the vestibule outside of the main office. Make sure to choose the appropriate form (there is a form for UNDER 16 and a separate form for 16 & 17 year olds).
Complete Section I, have your employer complete Section II, then bring back to SCHS to be completed  (if a parent is bringing the form for their student, we will need a photo ID of the student in order to complete the work permit). Work permits are completed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

school meals

We are excited to be able to offer free breakfast and lunch again this school year to all RCS students on school days.
If you added money to your student’s account and would like a refund, please follow these steps:
  1. Send an email to [email protected] and copy [email protected]. 
  2. Include your student(s) first and last name(s).
  3. Provide a short description of why you are seeking the refund.
  4. Indicate the name of who the check should be made payable to. It cannot be a student.
  5. Provide the address where the check should be sent.
  6. If you have auto fill on your student(s) account in MySchoolBucks, you will need to turn it off.
The district will mail the check. Please allow 6-8 weeks for full processing. 
If you plan to purchase breakfast/lunch items that do not qualify for the free portion, you can add money to your student's My School Bucks account.
Rochester Community School operates its meal program using Point of Sale Computers (POS). Our computers are capable of tracking all pre-paid lunch sales. In addition, you may view a detailed account of what meals or snack your child has purchased and your account balance by creating an account on https://www.myschoolbucks.com . This is a free service for the convenience of our parents. If you child receives free or reduced price meals, rest assured they will not be identified in front of others.
If your student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, students are required to enroll yearly. You can apply by clicking here.

pickup/drop off procedure

As a reminder, at the end of the school day students must be picked up in the parent loop on the south end of the school off Tienken Road.  Make sure to pull all of the way up to keep traffic moving. If the student can not be picked up in the loop, please park in a parking spot in the lots by the auditorium or the pool.  Please do not pick students up on the north end of school.  The loop is reserved for busses and authorized vehicles with permits only.  

SAFETY AND SECURITY

SAFETY AND SECURITY IS A TOP PRIORITY!
 
The safety and security of all students and staff at Stoney Creek is always a top priority. To help us in these efforts, please see the information below:
  • Students can enter through 3 entrances: the Main Doors, the Athletics Doors, and the Auditorium Doors.
  • Campus will remain closed throughout the school day. All grades will have lunch on campus.  
  • Students are NOT to utilize fast food delivery services. For example, DoorDash, Grub Hub, Instacart, or Uber Eats, etc. for food delivery.
  • If students are traveling to other campuses throughout the day, they are asked to check out of SCHS in the Attendance Office and check back in when they return.
  • Students are encouraged to utilize their assigned lockers to minimize their belongings in the classroom.
